Fire Safety Signs

Floor level identification signs

Floor level identification signs

An update to Fire Safety Regulations under Fire Safety: Approved Document B, Appendix 15.13 – 15.16 has meant all residential buildings with more than three storeys must display Wayfinding Signs to assist firefighters in the event of a fire emergency. To be displayed in stairways, this new range of signage will assist with floor and flat identification on each level.

To make sure you are fully compliant with the new Wayfinding legislation, you must at minimum display:

  • Floor designation signs
  • Flat designation signs (with directional arrows if required)

Our Design Team can help you to create custom signs that are compliant with the legislation and also guide you through all the technicalities.

Cut vinyl is made from pre-coloured rolls and cut into shapes or lettering. It’s ideal for simple, bold designs with no gradients or images. Printed vinyl, on the other hand, allows full-colour designs to be digitally printed and is perfect for detailed visuals and photographic elements.

Yes. Printed vinyl can be cut to custom shapes after printing, combining the flexibility of colour-rich design with the precision of cut outlines.

Absolutely. Both cut and printed vinyl can be used outdoors. When laminated, printed vinyl becomes UV-resistant and more durable in changing weather conditions.

Cut vinyl signs can last up to 7 years, while printed vinyl may last between 3 to 5 years depending on exposure and whether it’s laminated.

Most vinyl is removable without leaving residue, especially when installed correctly. Depending on how long the graphic has been applied and environmental conditions,

some minor adhesive residue may remain, but it’s usually easy to clean off. If you’d rather not handle removal yourself, we offer professional removal services to ensure

a smooth, residue-free result, especially for larger or older installations.

Many vinyls are specially designed to allow natural light to pass through while still delivering high visual impact or privacy.

Frosted vinyl is ideal if you’re looking to maintain brightness but add a degree of privacy.

Perforated (one-way vision) vinyl allows you to display graphics on the outside while letting you see out from the inside—perfect for storefronts or vehicles.

We can help you select the right material based on your lighting, privacy, and design goals.

Yes, we can match your brand colours and fonts with precision. If you supply us with your brand guidelines or Pantone/CMYK references, we’ll ensure consistency across all signage. For fonts, we can use your specified typefaces provided they are commercially licensed or available for use. Our design team will replicate your branding as closely as possible for a cohesive look.

Yes, we can work from your existing artwork. Just send us your files in a compatible format (such as .ai, .eps, .pdf, or high-res .jpg), and we’ll take care of the rest.

We typically accept vector files such as AI, EPS, and PDF. For simpler projects, high-resolution JPG or PNG files may also be suitable. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to guide you through it.

Yes, our in-house design team can develop concepts from scratch or help refine your ideas. We can also incorporate existing branding or logos into a fresh design.

Yes we do! Our experienced installation team operates throughout the UK. We also offer site surveys to ensure the installation goes smoothly and complies with local requirements.

Lead times vary depending on the complexity of the project, but standard signage for small projects can be delivered within 2–3 days from approval. Large-scale projects may take longer, and we’ll always keep you updated on progress.

For simpler signage, self-installation is possible, and we can provide fixings and guidance. However, for complex, large, or electrical signs, we strongly recommend using professional installers.

Pricing depends on the size, materials, complexity, and installation requirements. We provide detailed quotes after a consultation or site survey, with no hidden fees.

Getting started is simple—just get in touch with us via phone or email to outline your signage needs. We can provide a free, no-obligation quote if you send us a brief description of your project. It’s helpful if you include any of the following:

Photos or visuals of the space

A rough sketch or layout (if available)

Your logo and brand assets

Approximate dimensions

Preferred materials or finishes

Any specific budget or timescale requirements

Once we have that information, our team will review your brief and respond with recommendations, pricing, and next steps. Whether you’re in the early idea stage or ready to go, we’re here to help every step of the way.
